THE DUTIES AND LIABILITIES OF THE PRINCIPAL TO THIRD PERSONS. A principal may become liable to third persons in two characters: I. As an undisclosed principal; 2, As a dis closed principal. Again, the agent may bind him in contract, or in tort, for wrongs committed within the scope of the employment.
